San Lorenzo Village San Lorenzo Ca. is the hub of city.  Most homes are 1940s and 1950s, ranch-style, tract homes with two or three bedrooms, but many have been remodeled and upgraded.  A majority of the streets in San Lorenzo village have "Via" as part of their name ("Via Primero," etc.).  Boundaries run between Bockman Road and San Lorenzo Creek, to Meekland and the railroad tracks. 

In the Lorenzo Manor residents have a Hayward mailing address, but their children attend San Lorenzo schools.  The homes in Lorenzo Manor are generally 1940s and 1959s tract-style with stucco exteriors and three bedrooms. Rough boundaries for this area are between Hesperian up to Meekland, and off Hacienda toward "A" Street.

The Cottage Square home San Lorenzo Ca. developed by Centex Homes in  1999-2000.  These 1388 to 1722 square foot homes have 3-4 bedrooms and 2 car garages. Ravenwood Town Homes East and West Ravenwood East  with all homes located on Wickman Place consists of 2 bedroom 900 and 1168 square foot models, 3 bedrooms 1170 square feet and a 4 bedroom 1452 square feet built in 1971 has 60 units in all.  The Revenwood West built in 1972 about a block from Arroyo High School have addresses located on Jacqueline Place, Culver Place has 110 units.  These are 2 bedroom units at 988 and 1188 square feet, 3 bedroom unit has 1188 square feet and the 4 bedroom unit at 1457 square feet of living space.  In both locations more that 70% are two story units and all have a covered parking, an uncovered parking space and community pool.  HOA managed by Massingham and Associates at 925-426-8994

Montara Homes San Lorenzo Ca. Built by Citation Homes from 1994 to 1997 is located just across from the Bay Fair back parking lot near BART is in the Ashland area of San Lorenzo.  They have 3-4 bedrooms and between 1416 – 1948 square foot of living space with 2 car garages and no HOA association fee.  Streets include Heather Lane, Bayberry Lane, Silverleaf Dr, and Bertreo Ave.    

Village Walk in San Lorenzo Ca. is a smaller development of 28 Energy Efficient Green Homes built in 2009 by The Olson Company are Townhome style Condominiums with 1,463 to 1769 Square feet of living area with 3-4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths in two floor plans both with a 2 car attached garage.

San Lorenzo In The Nineteenth Century the Gold Rush brought men to California who found more value in the rich farmlands of Alameda County then in the soil of the Sierra. The beauty of the area, the mild climate, and the fertile soil were like magnets and they settled along the San Lorenzo Creek. By l850 so many squatters were along the creek banks, the community was known as Squattersville. The Spanish landowners weren't successful in evicting these squatters, so Estudillo and Soto sold the occupied land to them or found themselves in the American courts once California became a state in l850. By 1853 the residents of Squattersville renamed the community San Lorenzo.   More about the....
