* 11-30 units of water ( about 125 to 375 gallons per day) at $2.53 per unit
* Over 30 units of water ( over375 gallons per day) at $3.12 per unit
Most single family residential customers use an annual average of about 20 units of water per billing period and will see an average increase of about $8.00 on they bimonthly water bill.
The new Hayward Sewer Rates for single -family residential homes is $23.31
Hayward residents can reduce their sewer bill by lowering their water consumption. The Lifeline sewer rate if $6.82 for those who use less than 500 cubic feet of water (about 60 Gallons Per day) and those between 500 and 1,000 cubic feet of water usage are charged the Economy rate of $13.65
